Ellen Davis is a Sound Designer // Composer based in the United Kingdom.
Ellen has always had a passion for sound. Growing up, she played the Guitar, Piano and Saxophone. However, she always had a particular passion for Biomusic // experimental music, based on the sounds of nature.
Ellen always had a love for audio in Film/TV and Game and knew this is where she wanted her passion to take her.
Combining her passions, Ellen brings a diverse sound to all her creations and compositions, from Geophonic soundscapes to bizarre breakbeats that can really bring a project to a new level.
In 2021, Ellen started studying Creative Music Technology at Falmouth University to gain and utilise more tools within their Sound Design portfolio.
Ellen continues to grow her portfolio for clients both in the United Kingdom and overseas, always leaving a watermark with their unique, experimental sound.
Outside of writing music & sound design, Ellen will typically be found with her Golden Retriever on a coastal or woodland adventure.

Portfolio
With some geographical difficulties – Ellen being in Cornwall and me on the Canaries –, Ellen was not only easy to work with but understood instantly how I wanted the music of my film to be - subtle and to hold the piece together. She delivered the first draft quickly and added any additional changes in record time. Because of this, I was able to complete the film editing in two months rather than four. Her knowledge to smooth out audio transitions, adding SFX and small beats in the soundtrack to pick up the emotion increased the film’s value drastically and guides the audience to stay interested.
